Go for a walk and collect some leaves. Get lots of different ones - big and little, and different shapes. When you get back home, you will need poster paints and some plain paper to print on (wallpaper lining paper is ideal - cheap and plenty of it!). Choose a leaf and paint one side of it. While it is still wet, press the painted side down onto the paper to make a print. You can make patterns with your prints, or a picture (maybe a tree), or make a print of each leaf you found to remind you of your walk.
Building with Lego
Build some things with Lego. Make a big house and a little house. Make a long wall and a short wall. What else can you make that is little or long?
When you go out in the car or on the bus, look out for long lorries. Who can see the most? When you go for a walk in the park, look for little dogs, or maybe ladybirds.
Think of names beginning with L, e.g. Lucy, Laura, etc.
